On Wednesday, April 29th, ten students seated themselves on the auditorium stage. A podium was set up between two tables, at which eight of the students would speak during the final round of the annual Sophomore Debate tournament.
At the conclusion of the forty-two minute round, a champion team would be determined.
As of 3:15pm, Wednesday May 5, Mrs. Christine Allen had about ½ inches of hair left on her head. This daring act was in response to a promise she had made to her five classes.  If they raised the $300 per class to sponsor a child in Uganda, she would shave her head.  About 60 students gathered to see this event occur.
