OGT week to wrap up

With the writing, reading, and math tests completed, sophomores are breathing a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, two of the hardest tests, science and social studies, are still left to take.
“So far the tests have been pretty easy. They haven’t really been stressful or anything, just long,” said Leah Reis, 10.
This weeks schedule has been altered to make room for the tests, giving seniors and juniors who have already passed the test time to sleep in. The test ends at 9:50 am each morning, followed by three block classes.
“I don’t really like the schedule because our lunch is messed up. It is kind of nice to only have to have three classes a day though,” said Brynn Sharp, 10.
Every morning the sophomores receive breakfast in the commons and then go to an assigned classroom to take their test. The testing lasts for two and a half hours and most students finish in plenty of time.
“Getting breakfast is cool because I don’t have time to eat at home sometimes. Usually I finish the test early and I have time to go over my work,” said Reis.
Friday, students will be released at one o’clock. There will only be two black classes that day.
