American Sign Language Club
School Clubs
ASL Club is open to any student who knows or wants to learn American Sign Language. Club members practice their signing skills by playing games, signing songs and making "Hand Art." Several activities with students from St. Rita School for the Deaf occur throughout the year. Students also participate in fundraising activities with the money being used to benefit the Deaf Community. The ASL show, "Sycamore Signs!" is an annual spring concert that is coordinated by club members. Profits go to the Sally Monahan ASL Scholarship. The club meets once a month at 2:30 in room 253.
