Iran is ready to strike. In response to the United States perceived threats against Iran, the Obama administration has determined that Iran is more willing to carry out attacks on the United States tha n it has ever been.

This has been determined after the failure of the suspected assassination plot against the Saudi ambassador in Washington on Oct. 11.

The comments by the official James R. Clapper Jr., the national intelligence director, to the National Intelligence, have come as tensions between the United States and its allies with Iran and its developing nuclear programhave escalated.

However, other officials say there is a high priority on getting more information on this attack.
The written statement did not provide any details for what attack Clapper thought would be possible, nor did senators ask him.

As American diplomats step up their efforts to keep peace between the Taliban and other militants planning on ending this war in Afghanistan, Clapper also defended his administration’s discussion of preliminary trust measures.
