The Your Text Goes Here winter cheerleading season is dwindling to an end, but before the season can officially be over, the winter pep rally has to occur.
“I am really excited to cheer at my first pep rally. I didn’t cheer during the football season so this will be my first time cheering at a high school pep rally!” said Brenna Finnley, 9.
All squads have to report to practice on Thursday, January 26 to practice cheers, chants, and dances that will be performed.
“Before the last pep rally, we had multiple practices. We went over the fight song a million times to make sure we had it down perfectly. It takes a lot of practice but in the end it’s worth it. No one wants to look bad in front of the entire school,” said Tesa Scholl, 10.
“This is my last pep rally, said Ali Daniels, 12. “It’s going to be a fun pep rally but I’m sad that it will be my last. I hope the up and coming cheerleaders have as much fun as I did.”
