Even though so many healthier choices available in the SHS cafeteria, two desserts remain unchanged: ice cream, and frozen yogurt. Both are much loved treats, but most students have personal preferences.
“They are both very good, but I prefer ice cream. Nothing can replace ice cream,” said Sion Han, 12.
Ice cream remains the old favorite, a sweet creamy desert which can bring back loved childhood memories.
“Ice cream is way better! It’s creamier and has more sugar. Fro yo is too healthy for me,” said Nikita Tandon, 10.
Frozen yogurt is in fact considered healthier by many, mainly because it contains the word “yogurt” in it. However, whether it in fact healthier depends on the specific types of ice cream or frozen yogurt.
“Personally, I prefer frozen yogurt. Its good and I don’t feel as bad eating it as when I eat ice cream. It just seems like a healthier choice,” said Grace Keeton, 11.
Either way, both are sweet desserts which students hope will stay available to them for years to come.
