As the season continues without flaw, the JV cheer squad decides to lighten things up by spending a Saturday afternoon together.
“We rarely get together as a squad, but when we do we always have a lot of fun,” said Sam Smith, 10. “We don’t really go into the day with plans but we always end up doing something exciting.”
“Hanging out with the younger girls is always a lot more fun than I expect it to be,” said Sara Evans, 11. “All the girls are really mature and there is no drama!
The JV squad gathered at junior, Elizabeth Fleming, 11 house and ordered pizza and a movie.
“We watched "Pineapple Express" and ate Papa Johns Pizza. It was relaxing and we all got to just sit around and talk about school and friends,” said Fleming.
“Even though we know each other because of how often we are together, it’s always nice to see another side of a person you thought you knew,” continued Fleming.
