The week of Feb. 6-10 will be the second chance for SHS students to show off their school spirit during the winter pep rally.
“I can’t wait for .spirit week. I think it’s so fun to dress up and I never feel weird about what I’m wearing because everyone else is doing it as well,” said **Hannah Potter, 9.
Cheerleaders at SHS practice bi-weekly in order to prepare for the pep rallies.
“We pretty much know all the cheers, chants, and dances, so practice is more light hearted during this time,” said Sam Smith, 10.
Throughout the week, the students have an opportunity to show their spirit. Monday is “country day,” Tuesday is “I work out day,” Wednesday is “nerd day,” Thursday is “Disney day,” and Friday students are to wear their class colors.
“I really like the mood of spirit week. Since I’m a cheerleader, it’s important for me to always show spirit for sycamore, but during this week, everyone else does too!” said Bailey Rhodes, 10.
