As earth shed’s its layer of snow, students will also shed their layers thick clothing. Heavy knit sweaters, wool and blazers will soon be forgotten with the chill of winter. Incoming with spring are light cardigans, cropped vests and lace galore.

“Out of all the new spring trends, the bold patterns are what excite me the most,” said Faith Kaufman, 10.

Adorning these new trends are bold prints, such as floral patterns, stripes and graphic designs. A controversy of bold and pastel colors are also acceptable this season. These bold prints and colors will be vastly seen not only on dresses and tops but also on shorts, tights, and even jeans.

Really, anything accentuating the waist, including narrow belts synched under the rib cage or empire waist tunics and dresses are always notable. Chunky accessories will be a nice contrast to these slender trends. Daring wedges and wide cuff bracelets are exemplarity choices.

“The new spring fashion is basically being you in some bright colors. The neutrals are always in, but add a splash of color in your outfits and you get my version of spring fashion,” said Paige Domhoff, 10.
