Spring is coming up soon, that means boys tennis try outs are approaching. Tennis try outs start on Mon., Mar. 5TH, and they last one week
“During the week players will pay many singles challenge sets and players may also play doubles,” said Michael Teets, coach.
Boy's tennis consists of thee teams Varsity Gold, Varsity Green, and JV. The Varsity Gold team has 7 players, 8-12 students are on Varsity Green, and 10-12 are on JV.
* Teets* is the Varsity Gold coach, the new Varsity Green coach is Mr. Posta, and Miss Farrow will be the JV coach.
Tennis players have been waiting and preparing all year for tryouts to come.
“ Morning conditioning is an awesome way to prepare for he tennis season,” said Nikita Tandon, 10.
Morning conditioning is an optional activity every Tuesday and Thursday, students do not have to participate to be on the team.
Students who are concerned with getting up early and worried about the impact that conditioning has on their schedule need to be prepared because matches can last from 3 to 5 hours.
