My name is Jordan Gause and I am a sophomore. This is my first year on the Sycamore Newspaper staff, and I am very excited to have this opportunity! I have been writing since I can remember, and I have won two writing competitions in 4th and 7th grade.
*The movie that I think EVERYBODY should see is Soul Surfer. This move is about never giving up no matter how hard.
*The best advice that I have been given is "Play the cards you have been dealt". I love this quote because it explains how anybody can overcome hardships in life. Mine is diabetes, and I have learned to live with this.
*My life in 10 years will hopefully be something along the lines of having a degree in teaching and/or being a mom.
*Operation Give Back has been the organization that I have volunteered at for the past year. I started last winter, and I absolutely love it!
* An upcoming volleyball game or a big test always keeps me awake at night!
* I believe love is more important than money. You can't always be happy with money, because you won't have anyone to share it all with.
