My name is Lila Englander. This is my first year as a Staff Writer on the Leaf. I am excited to be a part of The Leaf staff and plan to be on staff for my entire highschool career. My hypothetical bookstand would have Me talk pretty one day by David Sedaris, Exodus by Leon Uris, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. My favorite athletic activities are tennis and biking to school. I like to draw and paint. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, and meditation. My favorite TV shows are The Wire and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I listen to This American Life on NPR as well. My golden retriever, Tucker, makes me very happy. I also enjoy when it snows in the winter.
