I am currently a Senior at SHS and this is my third year in journalism, where I am a feature editor. In my spare time I play varsity lacrosse and am captain of the girls' water polo team. I am greatly interested majoring in Communications, specifically in Public Relations. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and in my fifth year of studying French. When I am not working, I love to relax with friends, read, or travel. People are always surprised when I tell them that I have lived in four different countries: Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and The United States. I feel that knowledge is more important than grades because you can cheat your way into getting good grades, but you cannot cheat your way into getting valuable knowledge.
I am also an intern for Max Preps, a CBS-affiliated high school sports recruiting website. I am a videographer and recently won first and second place in the weekly Gatorade Scripts competition. I will be posting my videos on this site shortly.
