Hi! I'm currently a sophomore at SHS, this being my second year in journalism, but only my first on The Leaf. After living in China for the past two years, it's definitely different to be back in the states. There are, of course, differences between the newspaper I worked with at my old school and the Leaf here, but either way I'm completely looking forward to contributing to the group effort. My international experience and previous changes in life have prepared me well for anything I can get my hands on. After moving from England to Japan to the US to China and back to the US, it feels great to settle down once more and concentrate on what I want to do, journalism included.

My favorite time of day is the very early morning, if I am awake at that time.
One thing I learned in kindergarten that still helps me today is to always take time to rest, no matter what else you want to or have to do.
To me, knowledge is far more important than a grade.
